Meet Mr. Irvin

Mr. Jason Irvin

My name is Jason Irvin and I am the new music teacher at Nye Elementary School for the 2017-2018 school year.  I live in Conewago Township with my wife Andrea, and our two children.  Zachary is 2 and Audrey is 4.  They will both be attending Conewago Elementary School before we know it!

I attended West Chester University where I majored in Music Education with a Voice Concentration.  After graduation, I worked as a music teacher in West Shore School District in New Cumberland, PA.  There I taught elementary general music, choir, band, orchestra, and one year of middle school band.  This all-around experience has made this new chapter a good fit for me, and I am excited to get started!

I love watching the Philadelphia Philles, 76ers, and I am also a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan!  It will not be hard for me to find blue and white clothing to wear on LD Spirit Days:)  In my free time I like to be with my family, play golf, and make music!
